Hello I have a Big problem installing Leopard 10.5.1
I have tried Installing it as it's mentioned, In fact I have tried all version from 10.4.5 to 10.5.1
The problem is "Still Waiting for root device"
What shall I do to install it. Is SATA HDD Compatible?
Pl. help me out. Its a latest config. system. Do I need some patches for my HDD or Motherboard. I m trying it for the last 2 weeks.

My system config:
Intel Core 2 Duo 2666 MHz
Motherboard : Intel Frostburg DG33FB
Effective Clock :1333 MHz
RAM : Clock 400 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
HDD: Hitachi HDS721616PLA380
Sony DVD CD/RW : SONY DVD RW AW-Q170A

I had the same problem.
What i did was to change my HDD. (i had a backup one)
and yes....SATA PATA and SATA II are all compatible from what i know...
