Lets talk about the next build.. since the final seems a bit far off right now. When do you think we will see a new build, and when are the secret features going to start popping out?
Adrian Fogge
In all practicality, Apple may be holding on to the "secret" features so that when time comes for their demo, they can use their hype to leverage an increase in their stock price, again.

As far as when we will likely see a new build, no one knows any more. In the past, Apple has been inclined to actually follow a normal schedule for seeds but recently they have been seeding on a very irregular timeframe.

It is possible that they will go with April 1st, given the fact that their company was founded on that date 30 years before, falling in line with their statement "The First 30 Years Were Just The Beginning".

Apple still states that OS Seeds are on a monthly basis, despite there being NO February 2007 seed.

Anyway it's strange... last build popped-up a few months ago... any new build has been released since that day?
Adrian Fogge
Uh, the last build popped up March 1, 2007 (a few weeks ago).

9a377a.

Adrian,

How is that build working? Buggy?
Adrian Fogge
More stable than anything else I have seen.

Still has the iTunes issues, and other OpenGL problems, but over all very stable and reliable. We even have a thread on it over in Mac OS X 10.5 - 9a377a Client & Server Released on ADC

Still, I am very happy with it and have been using it as my Main OS since March 2nd when I whiped out my 10.4 installation in favor of keeping 337a as the ONLY os on my Macbook Pro.

i agree, not only because ittl be the 30th birthday of apple, but also becasue it is exactly one month after the last seed (3/1/07)

that apple picture/slogan during the first few days of the new year was certainly interesting... apple is definitely expecting to impress us this year, but well have to wait to find out how.
